![]() I only changed ships in my fleet, initial Returner sloop (or some similar name) with 4+2 slots to 5xmedium ships that cost 30k each (4+4 slots) to another 5xmedium ships that costs 50k (one of them crafted, 4+4 slots). If it reproducable then maybe it is a separate case which has similar results of changing the cargo amounts. I didn't do anything else using that button in my game. As I said earlier I only tried modifying once and switched wooden armor for metal one on one of the ships. This means that each time you repeatedly delete one warehouse on a ship and then add one more warehouse, the cargo space will continue to increase by two.Hmm. This means that every time one warehouse is added to the ship later, two more cargo spaces are added. ![]() The root cause seems to be that when ships are modified in the shipyard to reduce the number of warehouses on the ship, the cargo space on the ship is not reduced. Yea they don't do a good job in stating how it works, so for me saving me the headache just get more ships and expand the warehouses. ![]() So it displays 8 total space in one place (when you check your ship on a Fleet page) and 16/16 in store/warehouse/cabin/cabin allocation pages. It should have 8 total capacity, but if I leave it alone in a fleet I have 16 slots for Goods and 16 slots for Supplies with 50%/50% allocation. You can see on second screenshot that it is just a base Guanchuan which comes with 4 base space and 2 warehouse cabins which add 4 extra space total. I didn't modify those ships (except changed one wooden armor for metal armor on one of the support ships but that is irrelevant). Personally I also modify all my support ships to warehouse rooms as I don't feel the NPC captains are using the perk rooms so I get more spaces. ![]() So bigger ships will have more spaces to add more rooms. ![]() Then you will need to add/swap available rooms to Warehouses.
